I figure this is a great way to check that I am progressing, or at least maintaining my observational skills, as I mainly draw from what I see. I do this before I go to bed, so whatever I am looking at in my room becomes my subject, haha! ^-^
The deal is, if I draw sometime during the day, I don't have to do it before I go to bed. This system has been working out pretty darned well, as I find myself becoming more and more comfortable with drawing in general - that is, perspective, shapes, etc etc. I am so glad I am doing this! Just the confidence boost is worth it. I'd certainly recommend it to any artist.
I have been doing it for a few weeks now, but there are more rough drawings in which I include in this post, which were previously done. Keep in mind some of these are quite rough, and are what I refer to as "crap drawings". But I am not ashamed. I keep pressing on, and keep getting better - and that's what really counts, is it not?
First though, here is my FINISHED drawing of shells and bones which I did for my art class. I have also done another project in which the teacher stole to display, so whenever I get that back I'll post it.

And here are the other drawings...
