Well, I have some news...
I got a job! A real, salaried, full time, 32-hour-a-week, honest-to-goodness JOB in my field!
It is just incredible; I am SO thankful...this is what I've worked so long and hard for...it's crazy...
So. In the past 4 months I have
- Finished my internships
- Graduated from Graduate school; received my MS
- Studied for & passed the CDR exam; received my RDN credential
- Found a full-time job
And in the next 2 months, I will
- Start my full-time job
- Plan for my wedding
- Get married
- Move in with my soon-to-be husband
- Change my name
Soooo...lots of change and hard work paying off. I am feeling more like an adult every day...it feels fantastic!
I start my job on Monday. I'm a bit concerned about juggling this with wedding planning, but I'll make it work. I do tend to be a bit more productive when I'm busy, but I am just concerned about the stress of learning a new job combined with the stress of the wedding being a month and a half away...well, I'll make it work. It will all come together...and we'll be MARRIED!
I am so ready for that. We have been so ready to be married for a long time now. It just feels like that is the way life is supposed to be, married to this guy. It feels natural, it feels right, and it is one of the clearer decisions I've made in my life. I am very at peace with the thought of tying the knot and promising myself to this man...and I am very excited about making it a reality!
Also, can I just say...time is going by SO fast.
